While Mary was caring for these victims, she met with Ohio’s Attorney General’s Office and presented a proposal that allows Forensic Nurse Examiners to work alongside law enforcement and participate in sting operations in the rescue and recovery of sex trafficking victims. Working alongside the detectives, advocates, and other law enforcement, this allows all involved to close the loop to protect the victims from their pimps and johns.
