#18 – Making a Difference on and off the Field with NFL Veteran Greg Ellis

In this episode, Chad and Tony discuss NFC East futures odds before interviewing 12-year NFL veteran Greg Ellis. Ellis played for the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders and is 3rd on Dallas' all-time sack list. Ellis talks about iconic personalities he shared a locker room with such as Bill Parcels and Terrell Owens and opponents like Warren Sapp. Ellis also discusses his production company which produced the immensely popular "Carter High" and the role he played in helping secure the "Juneteenth" National Holiday. Now the Head Coach at Texas College, Ellis discusses his new role.

  • Greg Ellis Guest

    Former football defensive end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons. He played college football for the University of North Carolina, and was recognized as an All-American. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft, and also played a season for the Oakland Raiders. Ellis has also produced for television and film, notably as the executive producer of the 2015 sports film Carter High.
